On 18 July, a Dice Chess masterclass was held during the Rudaga Chess Festival at Semarah Hotel Lielupe in Jūrmala. The event was open to everyone interested in discovering the game.

The masterclass attracted many participants, including young chess players, their parents, and supporters. Everyone had the opportunity to learn about the rules and unique features of Dice Chess, practise with one another, receive advice from the instructor, and compete against their family members.

Children could challenge their mums or dads, while parents had the chance to compete against — and perhaps even defeat — their young chess masters.

One of the highlights was playing on the large outdoor chessboard using oversized Dice Chess dice. The event had a friendly, lively, and exciting atmosphere.
